At Luna, we’re always trying to find new ways to bring more games to more people. Which is why we’re excited to announce that customers can now buy individual games on Luna. Now, customers have more ways to buy Ubisoft games like Assassin’s Creed Mirage and playing on their Fire TV, smartphone, and any of our growing list of compatible devices.
In December 2022, we launched the ability for customers to play select Ubisoft PC games they own by linking their Ubisoft+ account to their Luna account and have seen they love the option to play their games on more devices they own. With today’s launch, Luna is taking a big step forward to becoming a one-stop shop for Ubisoft games, enabling customers to purchase their favorite games on Luna. Customers can now search for a specific game, like The Crew Motorfest, and purchase that game directly within Luna using their Amazon account and linking their Ubisoft account.
When customers purchase through Luna, they own the game license, and they will be able to play on Luna or download for offline play via the Ubisoft Connect PC launcher. Purchases will automatically show up in customers’ Luna library and stay up-to-date across all compatible devices. Regardless of where a customer plays, in-game process and purchases will sync to their Ubisoft account. Customers who purchase Ubisoft games on Luna can stream those games so long as they are Prime members or an active Luna+ subscriber. They also have the option to subscribe to Ubisoft+ and get new releases on day one and fan favorites for $17.99 per month.
How to get started
Customers can buy games without leaving Luna. Existing Ubisoft customers will sync their Ubisoft Connect account and new Ubisoft customers will need to signup for an account and sync before they can purchase their game. Once they purchase, Ubisoft games will appear in their Luna Library (as well as their Ubisoft Connect PC launcher) and will be available to play instantly across any device where Luna is available.
To start playing now, customers can visit Amazon.com/luna. For more details regarding Luna updates, follow us on Twitter @AmazonLuna, read our AmazonLuna.blog, and play now at http://amazon.com/Luna/.
