At Fire TV, we’re constantly innovating to make it easy for you to get back to your favorite shows and movies, or find a new recommendation that matches your tastes. That is why we are launching the new Continue Watching row on the Fire TV home screen. When you turn on your Fire TV device, you’ll see this new row at the top of the home screen. You may get a prompt to share your streaming history with Fire TV based on your subscriptions to various entertainment providers. When you enable this feature, it puts your favorite content front and center — surfacing TV shows or movies you recently watched from participating major apps like Max, STARZ, MGM+, Prime Video, and Amazon Freevee. This means you’ll spend less time searching and more time streaming. Finished watching a recent episode of a TV show? The next episode will be right there in the Continue Watching row waiting for you once it’s available. Paused a movie to get a snack and got distracted? The rest of the movie will be there waiting for you too, right where you paused it.

Cotinue Watching Row is now available to Fire TV customers

To start using Continue Watching, simply open a participating app and follow the prompt to personalize your Fire TV. If you previously accepted Continue Watching and other personalization features, no further action is required on your part. Max and MGM+ are the latest apps to allow you to integrate your watch history with Fire TV to support Continue Watching and other personalization features. We’ll be adding shows and movies from Peacock, Tubi and other streaming apps over the next few months. With Fire TV’s new Continue Watching row, finding and streaming your favorites just got a whole lot simpler. Enjoy!
